Expiration

Our products do not contain artificial preservatives, so they need to remain refrigerated at all times.

Protect your packages from excessive heat.

Ex. Avoid leaving them in the car or next to a heating source for long periods of time before refrigerating. This could drastically reduce our product's life.

Room temperature: 3 to 4 days

Refrigerated: 3 to 4 months

Frozen: Up to a year (Please read "Thawing" for tips on unfreezing our tortilla)

🔥How to Reheat Special Sized Nixtamal Corn Tortillas!

🌽 Please Note: Our special sized tortillas like Jumbo and Siberia require special handling to preserve their texture and performance. If you’re planning to use them for an event or in a professional kitchen, we highly recommend testing a small batch beforehand to get familiar with their behavior and reheating process. Also, please ensure you have the appropriate kitchen equipment for their size — for example, a large comal or griddle is essential for reheating Jumbo tortillas evenly. Proper handling makes all the difference, and we’re here to help guide you every step of the way!

🔥 How to Reheat Regular Sized Nixtamal Corn Tortillas Like a Pro!

Comal / Griddle (Traditional & Flavorful)

Step 1. Prepare your tortilla leaving it at room temperature prior using.

Step 2. Moist the tortillas and comal/plancha with a mixture of water and edible oil or lard (we use a spray bottle) . The comal must be at a medium temperature.

Step 3. Flip your tortillas quickly, then remove from comal.

Extra tip: If you are preparing double tortilla tacos we recommend to heat both tortillas at the same time.
